Requirements

What a machine needs before it can run BoothKita as a kiosk.

Before you start

Make sure your machine meets the following requirements:

• Operating systems: Windows 10 version 2004 and higher (build 19041 or higher) or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64). Coming soon for macOS and Linux.
• Printer driver: Your printer's driver is installed on your machine.
• Internet connection: The kiosk talks to your BoothKita dashboard for authentication, template sync, session records, and payment.

Supported cameras and printer

• Webcam: Any USB webcam works out of the box. Nothing else to install.
• DSLR / mirrorless: BoothKita uses gPhoto2 for camera control logic. Check if your camera model is supported here.
• Printer: Most printers work out of the box - just install the driver.
